At the time of his Impressions d’Afrique, presented in 1996 at the Cabinet d’art graphique of the Georges Pompidou Centre (Paris), we spoke symbolism and myths with Miquel. I like very much the neo-expressionnist work of this spanish artist : for example Doble coleoidea 6 – snail, helicoid, octopus, tentacular mother or double DNA spiral – mysterious progression toward self-knowledge like the Miroir / Mirror that lets us see ourselves the way we are... almost
