FEBRUARY 2016 – EXHIBITS LANDERNEAU & POMPIDOU CENTER – PARIS (FRANCE)

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]February 2016 – The Hélène & Edouard Leclerc Fund for Culture displays Lorenzo Mattoti’s universe in Landerneau’s Capucins from 2015 december 6th to 2016 march 6th. First and beautiful retrospective where the multiple figures of Mattoti’s work come ot at last : illustration, animation, painting and comic strip. It was Lucas Hureau’s idea to choose David Rosenberg as curator who had already showed his talent in the Maison Rouge with Vraoum and in Espace Louis Vuitton with Turbulences .

From 2015 december 16th to 2016 april 18th – Pompidou Center (Forum -1, Galerie 1), Paris, presents the approach of the german artist Anselm Kiefer – from the 60’s to nowadays – through about 60 paintings combined with installations and other works. Major artist of the neo-expressionist german painting of the 70’s with Sigmar Polke, Jorg Immendorff, Georg Baselitz et Gerhard Richter. The base of Kiefer’s art regards german myth and history, particularly the post-war german guilt. Then, the artist explores the agony of Yiddish culture in Germany through the study of Talmud and Kabbala.
