VENICE ART BIENNALE (ITALY)
Horse and Rider, a work by american contemporary painter Peter Doig (Scotland), holds my attention because immediately recalls me a 17th baroque century equestrian painting : Philippe IV riding a horse by Diego Velasquez. Of baroque spirit also, Victorieux/Victorious, one of my Paintless-Paintings, where, in the forefront, rises a very expressive archer and his quiver. In it I made up a set of shadow, such as a luminist painting to induce a caravagism in the manner of Velasquez, or even Greco or Ribera. www.labiennale.org.
